Mentawai Tribe is the native people of the Mentawai Islands, located in Siberut (our native island as well).
They are hunters, gatherers and healers and live deep in the jungle of Siberut.
The Mentawai tribes live in traditional Umas (wood longhouse made with bamboo strips, grass and wood which is shared by 3/4 families.
We all know that the tribes are disappearing that is why we highly recommend to go to the jungle (2 days at least) to meet them and know how they live with no capitalism and in the most natural way.
