What's included when you come to Shadow?

  • Air-conditioned Umas bungalows (fans also available)
  • All transports and transfers: Private car in Padang, ferry tickets, and Siberut-Island transfers on the first and last day
  • Speedboat trips at least 2x a day for surfing or island adventures with experienced local surf guides (+20 years of experience).
  • All meals at The Shadow Mentawai, including snacks and drinks on the boat
  • Daily yoga classes (ask for availability)
  • Unlimited FAST Wi-Fi (Starlink)
  • Unlimited use of canoe, stand-up paddleboards, and snorkeling gear. Fishing Rods and Spearguns available.
  • Unlimited water, tea, and Sumatra coffee at the camp. Extra drinks and food available.
  • Fun & sports facilities: ping pong, Takraw, volleyball, and swimming pool (pool towels included too)
  • All this on a private island supporting local surfers! 🏝️

The prices will be the same ones in both cases as we already set group and long stay discounts as well as non surfer/relax or age discounts.

If you are happy with the price, we will send you an invoice asking the 30% of the final amount as a deposit (voucher-refundable).

Live the experience in a private island

Once we receive your deposit, we’ll send you a booking confirmation with all the steps to prepare for your arrival.
The rest of the payment can be made up to 10 days before you arrive.
We’ll be waiting for you on our island, with our family team, swaying coconut trees, and the best waves and beaches of your life!

Our prices vary depending on your experience and plans:
  • How many people are in your group
  • How busy the camp is when you visit
  • When you want to come and how long you’ll stay
  • Whether you’re surfing, joining a surfer, or just here to relax

We tailor your stay so it’s just right for you!

Important: Our surfer and non-surfer packages are priced per person, per day.
This is because every day includes more than just accommodation, we cover all your transport and surfing rides:
  • Ferry tickets and taxis in Padang first and last day (day previous check in and day after check out)
  • Round-trip charter boat from Siberut Harbor to the island (first and last day too)
  • Daily speedboat trips for surfing, at least twice a day (including the first and last day)
So each day of your stay is fully covered, making it easy to relax and enjoy the island without worrying about logistics.

If you choose relax package (there is no surfer in your group) the price is per night as we don't include any type transport.

We have different packages:
  • Surfer: Surf every day of your stay, at least twice a day. 
  • Non-surfer: Join your surf partner on the waves. 
  • Relax: No speedboat included:  explore on foot, snorkel, or wander around. Daily speedboat trips and transfers are available as an add ons.
